I never write reviews, but this gem deserves to be shared. My one-night stay at Hotel l'Hippocampe was incredible. The view of the lagoon and sea from the picture postcard setting was simply gorgeous. The warm and friendly staff provided great hospitality, and the delicious seafood and traditional Moroccan dishes were a treat. The clean room with marble in the bathroom was comfortable and newer. The swimming pool, deck, and cozy lounge area were perfect for relaxation. The gardens, flowers, and walkways added a charming touch to the overall experience.

I do recommend this hotel.

The natural landscape and exceptional climate were a perfect backdrop for enjoying some pre-dinner drinks by the majestic fire place. The Wellness Area was peaceful and soothing for both my body and mind. The direct beach access and seawater pool were delightful.

Enjoyed the Easter egg hunt for kids organized by the hotel staff. The view of the nearby beach is breathtaking and the pool is well maintained. Walking distance to some local restaurants serving great seafood.

Your contact with the staff may go from absent to mean-spirited. Very dated rooms with poor A/C.

The view from the hotel balcony overlooking the lagoons and beach was breathtaking. We were able to enjoy the tide effect on the décor, which added to the overall pleasant and amazing experience. The pool was great, with salty water from the beach, and the direct access to the beach made it very convenient for a quick dip. The hotel's location in Oualidia was perfect, within walking distance to the main center and good quality restaurants. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and the gardens were gorgeous.

The sleeping arrangements were uncomfortable and basic, lacking proper pillows and mattresses. the restaurant service was unsatisfactory and the food was under par for the price.
